AHV’s organisational structure is designed to enable us to meet our commitment to partnering with our tenants and other stakeholders and improving housing for the Victorian Aboriginal community.
Our Operations Team encompasses client services, tenancy services, management of property maintenance and development, and tenant support through our life skills program.
Our Strategy and Performance Team ensures our performance, policies and strategy will enable us to meet the upcoming challenges associated with the transfer of property titles from the Department of Health and Human Services and achieving our goal of being a Housing Association.
Our Finance and Human Resources Teams ensure we have the financial and people capability to meet our objectives.
Our current executive team brings a breadth of experience across Aboriginal affairs, social housing, policy and governance, asset management and business operations. The combined experience of this team ensures that AHV has the strategic and policy capability to plan for the organisation’s future, while establishing a culture in which staff in all parts of the organisation are committed to meeting the needs of our tenants and our clients on our waiting list, and advocating for quality housing for all Aboriginal people.
We continually look at how we can improve our processes so we can expand our service offering in line with AHV’s commitment to increasing opportunities for self-determination and building the capacity of the Victorian Aboriginal community more generally.
