About our Christmas Toy Appeal

The generous donations to AHV's Christmas Appeal play a huge role in supporting those in need during what can be a difficult time of year.

AHV provides safe, secure and culturally appropriate housing services to over 4,000 low income Aboriginal Victorians.

The generosity and kindness shown by the community continues to drive the campaign.

Last year we were able to give gifts to over 700+ children living in AHV's homes across the state, thanks to donations to the Appeal.

Christmas can be a particularly difficult time, with the ongoing financial struggle of low incomes, many families, single parents and Elders have little money left for Christmas 'luxuries' such as gifts. This year - with the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic - we expect it may be tougher for many vulnerable families.
